To coordinate the development and network expansion activities of our radiopharmaceuticals we offer the following full-time position located in our headquarter in Berlin, Germany:
Radiometal Chemist*
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Play a major role in developing new radiopharmaceuticals to help patients
- Develop new radiosynthesis with a variety of different radioisotopes, including the purification and formulation of the radiopharmaceuticals
- Support development and optimization of manufacturing and analytical methods of radiopharmaceuticals
- Support with the synthesis, purification and analysis of non-radioactive compounds to support radioactive work and in vitro assays
- Learn/expand on the basics and develop skills to become a radiopharmaceutical drughunter
- Learn about biological assays (in vitro and in vivo) and aspects of Medicinal Chemistry for radiopharmaceuticals ,e.g. Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) studies, Pharmacokinetics (PK), etc.
- Operate, maintain and repair fully automated syntheses machines, specialized laboratory equipment (freeze-dryer, chromatography, etc.) and/or analytical equipment
- Help to maintain various labs in an operating state, including materials ordering and maintenance
- Active participation in discussions on the optimization of compounds, radiosyntheses and processes to efficiently improve our efforts in research
- Timely completion and documentation of trainings
Skills:

- Fluent in English
Experience:
- University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related discipline, OR relevant experience acquired in an industrial or academic setting
- Experience with radiometal chemistry would be beneficial
- Experience and knowledgeable in synthetic organic chemistry including purification and analytical methods would be advantageous
- Experience with automated manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals and / or quality control of radiopharmaceuticals would be advantageous
