Field Medical Affairs Director Italy*
The Medical Affairs Director for Italy will provide medical leadership in the field of neuroimaging, with a particular focus on dementias and cognitive decline. The role requires a senior Medical Affairs professional with scientific and/or medical expertise, preferably in neurodegenerative diseases and neuroimaging. The candidate should reside in Italy and have 5-10 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Execution of the medical affairs strategy for Italy.
- Support launch strategies, life-cycle management, and expansion of indications for use.
- Liaise closely with other Medical Affairs Directors in the Europe, US, and RoW to design coordinated global / regional brand strategies.
- KOL mapping of the territories.
- Liaise with health authorities regarding drug access programs.
- Support company-sponsored clinical research and medical publications.
- Identify, develop, and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with Medical Experts/Key Stakeholders.
- Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences.
Responsible for medical aspects of HTA dossiers.
Provide medical and scientific support for product messaging, claims development, and marketing activities. - Ensure compliance with applicable local and global laws, regulations, guidelines, and company policies and procedures.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and managerial skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Ability to travel as required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience/ Education:
- Medical Doctor / PhD / PharmD / or equivalent.
- 5-10 years in Medical Affairs in pharmaceutical / biotech industry, preferably in neurodegenerative diseases and/or neuroimaging.
- In-depth knowledge in Neurology and/or PET imaging.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development, clinical trials, and regulatory processes.
